"Strangers with Hats" is a coming of age fantasy short film about the search for the self in the fantastic world of fungi.
Noe, a fungal spore, is confronted with a brand new world full of miraculous creatures, rare skills and potential for growth and connections.
This project is created in collaboration with my animation colleague Petra StipetiĆ and funded by Hessen Film & Medien. Through Petra, as a Berlinale Talent, this project was part of the short form station at Berlinale 2024.
